Uwe Timm
Born in Hamburg in 1940. He started publishing in 1971 and has since become one of the more successful writers in contemporary german literature. He is most known for his novels Die Entdeckung der Currywurst(1993) and his autobiographical Am Beispiel meines Bruders(2003). He has also written screenplays for film and television.
